Breakfast
In The
Had a feeling you wouldn't be coming right home when I left you it was still no surprise had a feeling I'd be walking home alone even before I looked into your eyes
You say it's another breakfast in the middle of the night it might be you holding someone else tight and I finally feel better about us two now I just wish you didn't have to lie
I saw you caressing his leg at the bar and I saw you stop as I walked by now you're leaving with him to feast in the dark and I feel like I'm gonna let you try
We've had all the talks about our lives together there've been a few wars about breaking apart I've aired my views on our love's stormy weather but I wonder what came from your heart
So I hope you feel better in the middle of the night it's okay if you're holding someone else tight it's something I've thought of but just talked about and it just might make everything all right
And you say it's another breakfast in the middle of the night but it might be you holding someone else tight I kind of feel better about us two now I just wish you didn't have to lie no no no I just wish you didn't have to lie
