Antigua and
its environs has a long history of earthquakes.
Over the centuries, many buildings have been devastated in these catastrophic
events.
Some have been refurbished, and others like this, simply could not.
This ruined monastery fell in the latter half of the 18th century and has become a
visitor's attraction.
